Unique Coffee Shop Experiences in Downtown St Pete & Tampa

Buddy Brew inside Oxford Exchange

Buddy Brew

This coffee shop is located inside the classic Oxford Exchange (a must visit restaurant in Tampa). It’s the perfect place to get coffee and maybe sit & people-watch. I recommend trying one of their special teas. Their Macaroons are outsourced, but I would say they are the best I have had.

Black Crow

This coffee shop gives thriving artist emo vibes, with interesting fixtures. The chairs although unique I think could be a little more comfortable. I strongly recommend their blueberry muffins. They are totally addicting.

Bandit

Bandit

Oh Bandit, how do I love thy breakfast sandwiches… let me count the ways. The food here is really good. It’s also a nice place to enjoy coffee. Their pastries are delightful, and the breakfast sandwiches keep me coming back every time (The OG, is where it’s at). Be warned, there is almost always a line formed (sometimes out the door). So be prepared to wait a bit. Also, there no Wi-Fi, so bring your own, if you want to get some work done.

Bad Mother

Bad Mother is a cool spot in Downtown St Pete. It has the ambiance of young professionals working remotely, & small business offices for business owners. Great for having coffee and a small bite to eat. I would recommend the Thai tea and a scone.

Pour & Decor

Pour & Decor is a pretty coffee shop- definitely tea house vibes, but with coffee and a complete food menu. I recommend the Avocado Street Corn Toast. I would not recommend the loaded tater tots. It may sound positively sinful however, it may leave you feeling catfished.

Lady & a Mug

Such an adorable coffee shop with a lot of individuals studying. They have adorable little swing inside & also nice background music. I recommend their Chai late or hot chocolate. I however have yet to try a meal here that I would consider recommendation worthy.

Paradeco Coffee Roasters

Paradeco Coffee Roasters

A coffee shop with a retro vibe. Good music, great location, and pretty good coffee. It’s the perfect place to grab your coffee then go for a nice stroll downtown. Its located right across the street from the St Pete Pierre. If you’re a bit hungry they also have food options. Although I have not tried a lot of their dishes, I have tried their Chia pudding bowls with blueberries, and have also had their oatmeal with bananas & cinnamon bowl. Both bowls are pretty good. Their lavender lattes are unforgettable.

Blush Cafe

The Cafe has the perfect blend of delicious food and delicious coffee or teas. They have comfy cozy seating areas (when available). It’s perfect for book reading or working from your computer. I recommend anything on their food menu…the food here is just yum. If you like cheesy grits, they have the best egg/cheese/bacon grits in town.

2D Cafe

2D Cafe

2D Cafe is a cool little coffee shop. Located right in the Downtown St Pete. As you walk into the little coffee shop, you’ll notice everything is painting to have a 2D effect. Great for pictures because it’s quite unique. I would recommend their Croissant-Cinnamon Buns. Sound delicious right, that’s because it is!!

Clementine Cafe

This coffee shop is located in downtown St Pete inside of a museum. You don’t have to pay to enter the Museum. Just walk straight up to the coffee shop. The location is pretty cool. Try sitting outside, as there is a nice water view of the bay. I recommend trying their decadent pastries. The croissants are exquisite!! Their hours of operation are a bit strange though, and they only serve breakfast sandwiches Wednesday – Sunday. So be sure to check if they’re open before visiting.
